I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Kokopelli Moon is an original watercolor painting. The Kokopelli has been part of Native American legend and imagery for centuries. The design for the painting was inspired by beautiful Hopi pottery designs. The pallet is earth toned tans and browns with bright coral red and turquoise accent colors.
About Vikki Wicks
. Watercolor is my current medium of choice but I paint in pastels, acrylic, and oil, as well. I typically paint from photographs I have taken with paintings in mind as I do so. I often take many pictures to get the shot I am trying to capture for the painting I have in mind. Sometimes I will use two or three photos as references for one painting. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child and my early interest in art branched to ceramics, jewelry making and printmaking. I graduated from Metro State College, now Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1995 and have been focused on painting ever since.
